My name is Laura Verlaney. I am a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati where I majored in Health Promotion and Education with a focus in Public and Community Health. I graduated on Saturday, August 10th with a Bachelor's Degree. I received my CHES certification in October.

During my years at UC, I was a member and executive board member of Eta Sigma Gamma. I also attended two Ohio Society of Public Health Conferences. Along with my outward experience, I also learned about all aspects of what it means to be a public health educator in my classes, internship, and volunteering experience.

While I have a passion for mental health, I am excited for my future career to begin and I can't wait to see what it has in store for me.
